Volleyball Recap: Desert Hills Falls Short Against Ranked Sacred Heart

Desert Hills is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Sacred Heart. The Thunder fell just short of the Valkyries by a score of 2-1.

Leading Sacred Heart to victory were Campbell Miles and Taylor Berger. Miles had 14 digs and two aces, while Berger had seven aces and four digs. That's the most aces Miles has posted over her last six matches.

Desert Hills' loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Sacred Heart, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-14.

Desert Hills has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mater Dei on the 27th. As for Sacred Heart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Centennial on the 27th.
