Recap: Plymouth Wildcats vs. Novi Wildcats

The Plymouth Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. The match between Plymouth and Novi wasn't particularly close, with Plymouth falling 60-44. Plymouth has not had much luck with Novi recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Novi got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chase LeFevre out in front who scored 11 points along with six steals and three blocks. LeFevre is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aaron Lauer, who scored 19 points.

Plymouth bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Novi, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plymouth will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Milford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Milford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Novi is on the road again on December 29th and play against Royal Oak at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th.
