Basketball Game Preview: Dover Crimson Tornadoes vs. Steubenville Big Red

The Dover Crimson Tornadoes will take on the Steubenville Big Red in a tournament on Saturday. Dover is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

Last Monday, everything went Dover's way against Indian Valley as Dover made off with a 43-19 win. The Crimson Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Steubenville didn't have too much trouble with Zanesville on Wednesday as they won 56-42. Given the Big Red's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 568th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Steubenville has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points over those games. As for Dover, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
