Soccer Recap: Southern Huntingdon County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Forbes Road on Monday, Southern Huntingdon County came back down to earth. The Rockets came up short against the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers on Wednesday, falling 7-0. If Southern Huntingdon County were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Berlin Brothersvalley when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southern Huntingdon County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Huntingdon County will welcome McConnellsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Conemaugh Township at 4:15 p.m.
