Volleyball Game Preview: Campo Verde Coyotes vs. Desert Mountain Wolves + How To Watch

The Campo Verde Coyotes will head out on the road to take on the Desert Mountain Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Campo Verde came up short against Chaparral and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Coyotes in their meetings with the Firebirds: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Desert Mountain narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Arizona College Prep 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Desert Mountain took Arizona College Prep into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 15-10.

Campo Verde better keep an eye on Mia Archibald. She was instrumental in Desert Mountain's win, getting 23 digs. Those 23 digs gave Archibald a new career-high.

Campo Verde's loss dropped their record down to 16-18. As for Desert Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 13-22.

Campo Verde was able to grind out a solid victory over Desert Mountain in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Coyotes repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
