Baseball Recap: Dunbar Crimson Tide vs. School Without Walls Penguins        
        
		
            
 Dunbar and School Without Walls squared off in some playoff action  on Monday, but Dunbar had to settle for second. They lost  12-2 to the School Without Walls Penguins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dunbar of the  7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Monday.
  Caleb Pendleton was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more  stolen bases the last three times he's  played.
 On School Without Walls' side,  Patrick Morelli made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Morelli was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Charles Daggett looked comfortable as he  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits (and only one walk).
 Back at the plate, School Without Walls let  Stephen Showalter and  Wesley Freed loose on the outfield. Showalter  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double, while  Freed  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Noah Lee, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Dunbar's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for School Without Walls, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Dunbar nor School Without Walls have any future games scheduled.
