Basketball Game Preview: Shawnee Wolves vs. Booker T. Washington Hornets

Shawnee has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Booker T. Washington has won four straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Shawnee Wolves will host the Booker T. Washington Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Shawnee's tournament run continued when they took on Herriman two weeks ago. Shawnee was beaten by Herriman 75-34. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Saturday as they fell 61-57 to Weatherford. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Eagles are ranked first).

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Booker T. Washington, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
