Volleyball Recap: Hoover Beats Sanger West for Their Third Straight Win

Hoover not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 12th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Sanger West Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

Hoover never let Sanger West on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-23.

Hoover's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alejandra Espino, who had eight digs and six assists. That's the most digs Espino has posted over her last ten contests. Madison Vang was another key player, getting five digs and three aces.

Hoover was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matches.

Hoover's win bumped their record up to 25-9. As for Sanger West, their loss dropped their record down to 19-16.

Hoover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Madera on the 16th. As for Sanger West, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Edison on the 16th.
