Baseball Game Preview: Forbush Falcons vs. Churchville-Chili Saints

The Forbush Falcons will take on the Churchville-Chili Saints at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Forbush is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Forbush's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Wilkes Central with a sharp 19-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

The team relied heavily on Colton Moxley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Giovanni Casertano, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Churchville-Chili earned a 4-0 win over Eastridge two weeks ago. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.
