Football Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Clovis was riding high fresh off their 49-14 takedown of Salinas last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 27-26 to the Frontier Titans. The Cougars gained 188 more yards on the day, but it was the Titans that made the best use of them.

Clovis' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddox Merrill, who rushed for 122 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries. Deagan Rose was another key player, having thrown for 277 yards and onetouchdown.
