Softball Recap: Triton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Triton put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Pine Forest Trojans by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-14 last Wednesday.

Kaylee Clark spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bailey Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Triton's record now sits at 3-0. As for Pine Forest, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triton will square off against Lee County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Forest, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Midway at 7:00 p.m.
