Softball Recap: Mercer County Golden Eagles vs. Stark County Rebels

In what's become a running theme this season, Mercer County gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Stark County Rebels. Winning may never get old, but Mercer County sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Hallie Schreurs was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Schreurs was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with a triple and a run.
