Basketball Recap: Summit Charter Bears vs. Andrews Wildcats
After flying high against Eastgate Life Academy last Tuesday, Summit Charter came back down to earth. The match between the Summit Charter Bears and the Andrews Wildcats didn't end well, with the Summit Charter Bears falling 44-26. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 50-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Despite the defeat, Summit Charter saw an underclassman step up: freshman Olivia Reeves posted 11 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Victoria Clement, who earned seven points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andrews to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kylie Donaldson, who put up 16 points in addition to five boards and four steals.
