Softball Recap: Buffalo Gap Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Buffalo Gap had taken Fort Defiance down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Bison came up short against the Indians, falling 18-8. That's two games in a row now that the Bison have lost by exactly ten runs.

Buffalo Gap's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Fort Defiance, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Looking ahead, Buffalo Gap will challenge Stuarts Draft at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Defiance, they will take on Rockbridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
