Recap: San Benito Greyhounds vs. Rio Grande City Rattlers
The San Benito Greyhounds lost to the Rio Grande City Rattlers back in December of 2022, but the San Benito Greyhounds didn't allow the Rio Grande City Rattlers the same satisfaction on Friday. San Benito skirted past Rio Grande City 31-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for San Benito.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Benito to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angelina Reyes, who scored 7 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kayla Rodriguez, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
San Benito is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Rio Grande City, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
