For Donna Klein Jewish Academy, this counts as revenge for the 73-55 loss Highlands Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2020.
It was another big night for Tal Kessous, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Matheson, who scored 13 points.
When it comes to explaining why Highlands Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Adrian Suero. Despite the final result, he scored 30 points along with four steals. Suero's trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Service, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Donna Klein Jewish Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Highlands Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Donna Klein Jewish Academy and Sports Leadership & Management will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sports Leadership & Management knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Donna Klein Jewish Academy likes a good challenge. As for Highlands Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome FAU High at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
