Kenston took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Wickliffe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bombers skirted past the Blue Devils 8-7. The victory was nothing new for the Bombers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kenston's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Wickliffe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Kenston will take on South at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Wickliffe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
