Preview: Richwood vs. Bastrop
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Bastrop. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Richwood at 7:00 PM. Bastrop have yet to lose; Richwood, on the other hand, are desperate for their first victory.
Bastrop simply couldn't be stopped last week, as they easily beat Calvary Baptist Academy 41-6.
Meanwhile, the match between Richwood and Franklin Parish was not a total blowout, but with Richwood falling 8-24, it was darn close.
Bastrop's win lifted them to 3-0 while Richwood's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Bastrop can add another positive mark to their record or if Richwood can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Bastrop's step.
