Soccer Recap: Shadow Hills' Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Shadow Hills had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the San Jacinto Tigers. Considering the Knights have won three contests by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit San Jacinto with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alejandro Cervantes (2), Johnathan Contreras, Mateo Pulido, and Brian Chicas.

Shadow Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for San Jacinto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shadow Hills will take on Indio in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. San Jacinto and Colton will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
