Volleyball Recap: Cathedral City Lions vs. San Jacinto Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Cathedral City duked it out with San Jacinto on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.
Cathedral City took San Jacinto into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-22, 24-26, 15-13.
San Jacinto found their leader in sophomore Joseph Gordon, who had 23 digs and two assists. Those 23 digs set a new season-high mark for Gordon. Another player making a difference was Jo Jo Camargo, who had 16 digs and two assists.
