Volleyball Recap: Trenton Takes a Loss

Trenton lost against Bell two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trenton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bell work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 28-26.

Sierra Chatman was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 assists and five aces. That's the most assists she has posted over her last four games.

Trenton's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bell, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Trenton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Fort White on the 9th. As for Bell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Chiefland on the 8th.
