Cumberland Valley had won 11 straight games and Hayden Ackley did his part to make it 12 on Thursday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Central Dauphin East Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Ackley, who had 26 digs and four assists. He has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times he's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cumberland Valley took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-9.

Leading Cumberland Valley to victory were Kai Dunwoody and Isaiah Sibbitt. Dunwoody had 14 assists and four digs, while Sibbitt had 22 assists and one block. That's the most digs Dunwoody has posted since back in March. Elijah Fox also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Cumberland Valley pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Central Dauphin East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cumberland Valley will venture away from home to challenge Northeastern at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Dauphin East, they will head out to face off against Trinity at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
