Thomas County Central hadn't done well against Grace Christian Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Yellow Jackets yet this season.

Thomas County Central walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Jaden Crews and Peyton Reneau, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Kate Henson and her 12 assists. Willow Hunt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Thomas County Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
