The Plaza Heights Christian Academy Lions will square off against Crosspoint Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Plaza Heights Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Maranatha Baptist Academy get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Hayden Patterson was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Remi Schieber, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Plaza Heights Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Crosspoint Christian entered their tilt with Aurora Christian Academy on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Arrows 13-4.
The team relied heavily on Cody Sanders, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Carl Lewis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Plaza Heights Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Crosspoint Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Plaza Heights Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Crosspoint Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .323. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
