Recap: Hillcrest Knights vs. Bonneville Bees
The Hillcrest Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Bonneville, posting a 101-53 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Hillcrest sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Isaac Davis was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with eight rebounds. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Ike Sutton, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists.
Hillcrest's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points per game. As for Bonneville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Hillcrest will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. Skyline will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Knights are ranked tenth). As for Bonneville, they will head out on the road to challenge the Russets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
