Football Recap: St. Henry Takes a Loss

St. Henry fell victim to Beechwood and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Tigers 70-0. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Crusaders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Henry's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5. As for Beechwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. Henry will face off against rival Bracken County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Beechwood is set to take on their familiar foe Gallatin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
