Alyssa Rogers Game Report: vs Palmer

Alyssa Rogers was dynamite on Friday, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with more than eight strikeouts. For the year, she has an ERA of 4.02 over 47 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Rogers and Maypearl will challenge Blooming Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 334 places lower in Texas), but they're not letting that get them down.
