Softball Recap: Corbin Takes a Loss

Corbin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Henry Clay Blue Devils. If the Redhounds were looking for revenge after losing 9-2 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Corbin's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Henry Clay, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corbin will venture away from home to square off against Williamsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Henry Clay, they will challenge Bourbon County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils are facing the Colonels at the right time seeing as the Colonels are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
