Cabrillo won the last time they faced Orcutt Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Conquistadores were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-20.

Cabrillo was led to victory by Taylor Savella and Jazlene Brady. Savella had three digs and three aces, while Brady had 14 assists and two aces. Brady is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Cabrillo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in seven consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Orcutt Academy lost, don't look at Larissa Lorencz. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and seven blocks. Those blocks were Lorencz's first of the season.

Cabrillo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-16-1 record this season. As for Orcutt Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-10.
