 In what's become a running theme this season, the Desert Vista Thunder gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They breezed by Dobson at home  to the tune of  57-26. The  victory was nothing new for Desert Vista as they're now sitting on eight straight.
  Shay Ijiwoye was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 22 points along with two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Dylan Swindle, who  scored 11 points along with five  assists and three  steals.
 Desert Vista pushed their record up to 22-5 with that  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.3 points. As for Dobson, their loss  ended a seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 20-8.
 Desert Vista's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Seton Catholic at 7:00  p.m.  on February 22nd. One thing working in Desert Vista's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last eight games. Dobson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
