Volleyball Recap: Paoli Comes Up Short

Paoli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Perry Central Commodores. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Commodores from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 25-17.

Paoli's offense was headlined by Kalyn Hannon and Maddie Vernon, who picked up two kills apiece. Vernon really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with three. Hannon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Perry Central was led to victory by Kaitlyn Goffinet and Mya Litherland. Goffinet had ten digs and three assists, while Litherland had 13 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Goffinet has posted over her last six games.

Paoli's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Perry Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Paoli has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against New Albany on the 22nd. As for Perry Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against West Washington on the 18th.
