Basketball Recap: Western Tech & Environmental Science Comes Up Short

Western Tech & Environmental Science lost against New Town back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines fell to New Town 51-45. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Western Tech & Environmental Science's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for New Town, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Tech & Environmental Science won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Eastern Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Town, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Chesapeake at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Chesapeake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
