Soccer Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Anderson County Mavericks, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Scott can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Anderson County are ranked 97th).

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-2. As for Anderson County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott will square off against Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson County, they will face off against Roane County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
