Culver City waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They wrapped up 2024 with a 54-38 win over the Pasadena Bulldogs. The 54-point effort marked the Centaurs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Culver City pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Culver City will take on Vista Murrieta in a tournament on Monday. Vista Murrieta knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Culver City likes a good challenge. As for Pasadena, they will be taking part in a tournament against San Gabriel Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. San Gabriel Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Pasadena surely won't give up without a fight.
