Volleyball Recap: Ponder Victorious

Ponder won the last time they faced South Hills and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions came out on top against the Scorpions by a score of 2-0.

Kennedy Simon paced Ponder's offense, picking up five kills. Simon got some help from Zoe Dishman and her eight assists. Alli Meroney controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

The win got Ponder back to even at 1-1. As for South Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Ponder has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lake Worth on the 14th. As for South Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bridgeport on the 15th.
