Volleyball Recap: Deuel Comes Up Short

Deuel lost against Hamlin back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cardinals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Jayci Trowbridge was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Deuel's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Hamlin, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Hamlin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Clark/Willow Lake on the 28th. Hopefully Deuel paid attention to the Chargers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
