Burlington extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Lexie Carmody. The Red Devils blew past the Arlington Spy Ponders 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Carmody, who had 17 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more digs the last four times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-11.

Burlington's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Arlington, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Burlington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Wakefield Memorial on the 18th.
