Pace Academy entered their tilt with East Forsyth on Thursday with 13 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 14. They put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pace Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-15.

Britton McGurn was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

East Forsyth's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mataya Orth, who had 14 digs and three assists, and Abby Larson, who had 13 assists and three digs.

Pace Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for East Forsyth, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Pace Academy will be playing at home against North Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Forsyth, they will welcome West Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
