Knoxville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes 80-58. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Big Reds/Redettes are ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Knoxville's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Centerville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knoxville will square off against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Knoxville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont likes a good challenge.
