Baseball Recap: O'gorman Falls Short Against Ranked Lincoln

O'Gorman faced Lincoln in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Knights took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 12-7.

Sully Schlimgen was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Jackson Bjorkman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

O'Gorman's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

O'Gorman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will host Tea at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
