Softball Recap: Brazos Comes Up Short

Brazos and Anderson-Shiro squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Brazos had to settle for second. They lost 12-0 to the Fighting Owls. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since March 7th.

Brazos has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-15 record this season. As for Anderson-Shiro, the victory (which was their 24th in a row) raised their record to 28-4.

While Brazos had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
