Potomac School entered their tilt with Holton-Arms on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Holton-Arms. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Catherine Stallmer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Stallmer wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Anna Castellano, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Another was Charlotte Parry, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Potomac School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in nine consecutive contests.

Potomac School's record is now 10-2. As for Holton-Arms, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Potomac School and Holton-Arms will both be playing Sidwell Friends the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Quakers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Holton-Arms will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
