Football Recap: Bristol Central Victorious

Bristol Central was handed a 42-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Hall Titans 24-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since October 4, 2024.

Gabriel Ouellette produced another solid effort rushing for 237 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for seven yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bristol Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Hall lost, don't look at Tommy Hussey. Despite the final result, he threw for 192 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 64 yards on only six carries.

Bristol Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Hall, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
