Basketball Recap: Northview Comes Up Short

Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Palm Desert Aztecs 64-37.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Palm Desert to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jecorey Jones, who went 8 for 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Jones has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Wil Wilson, who went 9 of 18 en route to 23 points and five rebounds.

Northview now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Palm Desert, their record is now 2-4.

Northview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-42 loss against Xavier Prep on the 7th. As for Palm Desert, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-50 victory against Beaumont on the 10th.
