Burgettstown won the last time they faced Bethlehem Center and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils walked away with  an   8-5  win over the Bulldogs. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Blue Devils.
 Jayden Roach and  Wyatt Stevenson were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Roach   pitched six innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Meanwhile,  Stevenson   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. At the plate,  Roach  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Stevenson  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Sam Elich was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Brian Charles was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with four  RBI and one  double.
Burgettstown's record now sits at 5-1. As for Bethlehem Center,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-6.
 Coming up, Burgettstown will be playing at home against South Park  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Blue Devils 2.3, the Eagles 2.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Bethlehem Center, they will venture away from home to  face off against Brownsville  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
