Baseball Recap: George Ranch Comes Up Short

George Ranch has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They fell just short of the Tomball Cougars by a score of 10-9. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

George Ranch now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Tomball, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, George Ranch will take on Tompkins in a tournament on Saturday. As for Tomball, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Clear Lake at 10:00 a.m.
