The home team had come away the winner the last five times Marshfield and Strafford had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bluejays came out on top against the Indians by a score of 9-4 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bluejays also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Marshfield's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Strafford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Marshfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-4 victory against Carthage on the 25th. As for Strafford, they will face off against Licking at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
