A Season-Best Effort from Andrew Wold Leads Auburn Riverside over Kentridge

Auburn Riverside was led to victory by Andrew Wold, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Wold rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 75 yards.

This season, Wold has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 143.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to five.

Indiana Jones Goes Supernova in Kennedy Catholic Victory

Kennedy Catholic picked up their seventh consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Indiana Jones. Jones did his part (and then some), rushing for 168 yards and four touchdowns for the 'W'. He has been hot , having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played.

Jones is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Kentridge on Friday. When Jones last faced the Chargers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Jonathan Epperson Jr Makes It Two for Auburn Riverside

Another Auburn Riverside player making an appearance on this list is Jonathan Epperson Jr. He made three total tackles. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.

Nikko Lecksiwilai was instrumental in extending Kennedy Catholic's winning streak to seven on Saturday. Nobody could stop Lecksiwilai as he rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.

On the year, Lecksiwilai has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 39.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 13.17 rushing yards per game.
