Heritage Hills won the last time they faced South Spencer and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots blew past the Rebels 11-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Miriam Gordon made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. Gordon was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Mia Kiegel was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Lexi Lubbehusen, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Heritage Hills' record now sits at 18-6. As for South Spencer, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Hills will venture away from home to square off against Northeast Dubois at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Spencer, they will head out to face off against Tell City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
