Mifflin County has gone a perfect 3-0 against DuBois recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Huskies are taking a road trip to square off against the Beavers at 4:15 p.m. Mifflin County's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so DuBois' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Wednesday, Mifflin County came up short against Chambersburg and fell 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Mifflin County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Piper Specht, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, DuBois waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 17-2 victory. Considering the Beavers have won three matchups by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brielle Gray was a standout: she scored three runs while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Reynolds, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

DuBois always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mifflin County now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for DuBois, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Mifflin County came out on top in a nail-biter against DuBois in their previous matchup back in April of 2016, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
